As a father of a daughter I think I understand women. As a husband to a very independent minded woman I know I understand women. The thing is women are in a tough spot. With an economy that is in disarray women tend to be the last hired and the first fired.
Women in todays economy controlled by an economy that no longer work must go out there to work and still must come home to the same kind of work that the non-working mother and wife is responsible for. In that light what gives.
Women are under stress. They are under stress much more so than men. They are generally now both bread winner by necessity and nurturer by expectation. When the stress level reaches the breaking point it is imperative that there is an outlet for our women. We need mental health retreats for women that are affordable, accessible, and capable. Absent having the appropriate care for our women one cannot fathom what the result would be on our society, a society that is ultimately dependent of having women healthy physically and mentally.
