Addiction for most is not immediate or recognizable to the addicted till they are already engulfed into that realm of addiction. If early on one could make it real to those trying these drugs we would have less addiction. That said, as a country it behoove us to start treating addiction and drug use as a medical problem. Just maybe if we legalized drugs and taxed them in manner that would raise revenues to aid those who fall into addiction, we would get to the point where its use would no longer be cool
