Juan Williams is now expressing righteous indignation over NPR’s Ron Schiller accurately describing the Tea Party as a group that is comprised of several racist sub groups. He also takes offense with a truth of the Republican Party being a party that has been promoting un-intellectualism.
The truth sometimes is hard to take. I believe he is most upset that he got fired from NPR. He should have been fired the first day he did commentary at FoxNews as that stint immediately made any commentary or journalism on NPR at best suspect.
It is sad that the CEO and Ron Schiller had to resign for basically telling the truth. Deep inside I wish NPR would give up government funding and depend solely on listeners and donors. If they lose their federal funding, I will increase my given and I will ensure many of my peers do as well.

Interestingly, O’Keefe told CNN on Tuesday that he targeted NPR because of its firing of Williams.
Schiller, who resigned from his post as one of NPR’s top fundraisers on Tuesday, was caught calling Tea Party members "racist" and saying NPR would be "better off" without federal funds. NPR swiftly condemned the comments, and pushed Schiller out.
Schiller also defended the network’s firing of Williams over comments he made about Muslims. In comments to the Fox Nation website, and in an appearance on Sean Hannity’s Tuesday show, Williams was positively enraged by the scandal.
"This was an act of incredible condescension," Williams told Fox Nation. "…They will say things to your face about how there’s no liberal orthodoxy at NPR, how they play it straight, but now you see it for what it is. They prostitute themselves for money."Speaking to Hannity later, Williams repeated these charges.
"They say that people like me are bigots because I tell you what I feel," he said. "These people are not only attacking the Tea Party…they attack anybody who disagrees with their point of view. These folks are doing damage to real journalism at NPR…these people are destroying NPR."
