Jon Stewart was on Rachel Maddows show last night and continuously try pass himself off as simply a comedian and not a commentator or journalist. He is right on both counts. It is telling of the state of our news media that a comedian/satirist is better at articulating the shear stupidity and inconsistency of what many politicians try to get across the American citizens whether selling a book, selling a deficit, or selling a war.
