My favorite show about weddings has got to be My Big Redneck Wedding. I found out when it airs by looking at http://www.bestchoicetv.com/directv-programming.html. This show is so ridiculous I can’t help but forget about all the other things I could be watching on satellite TV at that given time. It is unbelievable to me that these people are actually serious. I am not a redneck, but I live in an area where there are a lot of them, and I don’t see what there is to celebrate about being ignorant, dirty and trashy, but whatever, to each their own. This show is a perfect display of this crazy group of people in their element. Brides mud wrestling in their wedding gowns, wrestling pigs, doing keg stands, pie eating contests, going mudding. Very unconventional and different from any other wedding shows that are on TV now, or ever. Although this is very low class, and at times even hard to watch, it is still pretty hilarious to see that some people really live this way and take this style of life seriously. I mean it is one thing to live on a farm, drive a pick up truck and listen to country music, but these people have really gone to the extreme. I am sad to admit, I know a handful of people that I can picture winding up on this very show in the future.
