Did you apply for the new health coverage for people with pre-existing conditions? Your experience could help improve the program or help others benefit from it! Share your story! |
Last month we told you about the new, more affordable health insurance for people with pre-existing conditions. Did you apply? We would love to hear your experience!
The new insurance available for people with pre-existing insurance launched this month, and many of you may have applied for it. Your story could help improve the program or help get the word out to more people who need it.
Many aspects of health reform will take years to roll out, but for those who want to purchase health insurance but can’t because of a pre-existing condition, there’s relief now.
The new plan launched August 1 and covers primary doctor care and all specialty care needed to treat and manage pre-existing conditions, including prescriptions and hospitalization. Did it cover what you needed? Was there an option you could afford?
We know all insurance is expensive, but this coverage should be priced at the same rate people with NO pre-existing conditions would pay.
Tell us your experience so we can learn what’s working and what’s not!
We can get your feedback directly to those who run the program, and your story may encourage others to apply (we won’t publish any stories without your permission).
Few things are worse than being denied the coverage you need simply because you have a health problem.
