America needs jobs. Congress has the ability to pass bills that will allow jobs to be created in the private sector now to rebuild roads that are waiting for funding now.

Yet what are the Republicans debating in Congress today? Abortion! To be more precise they are debating the bill they call Protect Life Act which will ban the federal funding for abortions and bar women from using tax subsidies from the health care law to buy insurance that cover abortion except in the cases of rape, incest, or health of the mother. If they really thought abortion was murder then those exclusions would not absolve them of said sin. The bill also protect health care providers if they believe that performing abortion procedures clashes with their personal beliefs.

What is next, protection for health care providers who think redheads are witches and as such must be refused service? I am being sarcastic here but can America see the similarity between Right Wing Republicans and the Taliban. When my friend Markos Moulitsas, founder of The DailyKos, wrote the book American Taliban, he got a lot of flack. Reality is that he was right.

Congress needs to start working on issues that have a material effect on the American joblessness. They need to start working now. It is imperative that we replace the current Congress with people who have service to the American citizens in their windshield and rare view mirror alike.

Loretta Sanchez articulates what we all know. There is a conspiracy by Republicans to ensure the economy remains stagnant with the expectations that that will increase their chances for winning the Whitehouse.

This should be no surprise at all. After all the healthcare bill passed was more similar to a Republican bill than a Progressive bill yet Republicans vilified it. The mandate they now abhor was a Republican idea. The jobs bill they are refusing to support is packed with policies once supported by Republicans.

We cannot expect this message to be actively disseminated by the corporate media. It is then the responsibility of our local and national activists to stay on message and continue to point out the facts and how it affects every American. It is not enough to throw out the facts. We must make an emotional connection with those we are engaging by showing how the evil policies of the Right materially affect them, their family, their relatives, and ultimately the well being of our country.

I have a rod in my back that is 1 foot long. I got this rod inserted when I was twelve years old. The reason I got the rod inserted on my spine when I was twelve years old was because I had a severe case of scoliosis. I actually had an S curve. The doctor said that if I did not have the surgery that I would likely have breathing problems as well as heart problems.

Suffice it to say I decided with my parent’s consent to have the surgery. Inasmuch as I was very young then, I can still remember the pain and suffering I went through for that surgery. Interesting enough I was pain free for several years. Then however after I go into my late 30s the pain started. In my forties the pain got worse. Now in the beginning of my fifties, sometimes it is downright unbearable.

Physical therapy is then the answer. With a location that follows physical therapy documentation I would feel safe attending it at all cost. After all I need pain free time now.

Men never fear what there pectorals look like. Men do not wear how there chests in their minds. Men do not go out to mutilate themselves just for vanity. Why? You see our society has not made a mans pectoral anything of importance. So much so that men in western countries can go shirtless and no one asks any questions.It does not matter if he is flat chested, big chested, no chested, or other chested. Unfortunately society has not given women that freedom, that option, that opportunity. It is time to change that.

Until change in minds and culture hower Breast Prosthesis will be needed for those women who just cannot be the individualistic change that we will eventually need. Now the time will come when women will choose if they want to wear a prosthesis for any reason whatsoever. So let us make a pact. Now if you are a church, a civic organization, lodge, or other that wants to put on a health fair you know where to go. In these times of health care reform and health care issues the one thing we need are options out of our medical domain proper.

The advent of ready made kits present an opportunity for many to be more proactive in their healthcare and their own upkeep. This in the long run gives everyone a stake in their own health. In an interesting way that may present a much better alternative given that people take more interest when they are directly responsible and directly impacted.

I started healthy living for about 10 years now. It is important that in these times of poor medical care it is important that we take care of ourselves. Exactly what does this mean?

It means a lot. You must first start with a very good night of sleep. Sleeping is much more important than people would believe. I get 5 hours of sleep on week days and about 8 hours on the weekend. It is not the best but it is better than I did  before.

I wake up and go workout for about 2 hours every weekday. When I get home I get a good breakfast and it is off to work. In the mid morning I then go get me some fruit or something light.

For lunch I then get me some V8 juice and maybe some peanut butter. For dinner I have a lot of carbs. I eat very little meat.

Now every so often I will splurge on chicken. That is not the norm. All in all, I have started living a healthy lifestyle and I feel a lot better than I use to.
